This is a super craft activity to do with
children of all ages!!
You will need:
Cardstock paper
Glue
Glitter
Go for a spring adventure walk. You can
do this in a neighbourhood park or even in your own back yard!
Look for signs of spring. Collect things like, flower buds,
grass, small stones, tree branches, anything that is related
to spring time! Bring all of your pieces into the house, or
if it’s a nice day, you can do this on your deck or
patio. Glue the pieces onto a piece of cardstock paper in
a random pattern. Then, once all the pieces are secure, drizzle
more glue all over the pieces and the paper. Shake glitter
all over your collage. You now have a collage complete with
all the signs of spring! Watch it shine in the sun!!
To make your collage extra special,
frame it!! First pop the glass out of your frame, doing this
will ensure that all of your springtime pieces will pop from
the picture! Carefully place your collage into the frame and
hang it in a special place! Don’t forget to sign your
artwork!! ENJOY!
