Oakville Farmers' Market
Every Saturday starting June 6 until October 31 from 8:00 am til 2:00 pm. The location is 120 Navy Street Oakville, Ontario in the Centennial Square. Shop for Ontario Vegetables, Fruit, Baked Goods & Much More!


Residents are invited to celebrate and share the Pan Am spirit! Oakville’s community spirit will shine bright when the Pan Am flame arrives in Centennial Square on Tuesday, June 23 as part of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay, presented by President’s Choice® and OLG.


Oakville’s Summer Solstice Yogathon

Calling all yogis, health enthusiasts and sun-lovers! Celebrate the longest day of the year at the Town of Oakville’s Summer Solstice Yogathon in Towne Square, on June 21, 2015.

The Summer Solstice Yogathon will offer a full day of FREE yoga facilitated by a selection of the town’s most popular yoga studios!

Nine 50-minute outdoor yoga sessions are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Drop in when you’re in the area, or stay all day! Sessions begin every hour, on the hour. No registration necessary. Open the schedule (pdf, 3.08 MB).

Build your strength, improve flexibility, focus your mind, and enliven your breath. Yogis of all skill and ability levels are invited to participate in this free summer event. Remember to bring your mat and reusable water bottle! A water refill station will be provided onsite.

Artists from across Oakville will be “painting the town” this June. Stroll around and take in the plein air painters set up throughout Downtown Oakville, painting the beautiful streetscapes.

TD Summer Reading Club 2015

Our theme this year is Explore, Discover, and Play! By reading this summer, you can earn great prizes like McDonald's vouchers and passes to the YMCA and Conservation Halton. Keep reading all summer to earn an extra special prize! Each library branch will also be hosting fun, free drop-in programs and contests throughout the summer for children and families, with themes ranging from the PanAm Games to Showbiz.
Join the Summer Reading Club this year as we explore, discover, and play. With books, stories and ideas as your inspiration, the sky is the limit!

The 4th annual Co-operators Oakville Family Ribfest is just around the corner!

2015 Dates: June 26-28!

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Sheridan College to enjoy ribs, live music, a midway carnival, and so much more! Admission is free and there is plenty of on-site parking for $10 or free parking at Oakville Town Hall with shuttle service.

The largest community event in Oakville, Ribfest is organized by Oakville Trafalgar Rotary to raise funds that support local and international Rotary projects.

The Town of Oakville and Tim Hortons are proud to present the Oakville Children’s Festival — an arts and culture playground for kids of all ages! Enjoy FREE live performances and fun events including interactive cultural activities that are sure to make your child’s eyes light up and put a smile on your face.

Join us for this very special event! Catch a free Oakville Transit bus from the Halton Region Head Office with stops at Bronte GO Station or ride your bike! Special bike parking will be available on site. Festival-goers are also reminded to bring a refillable bottle to enjoy fresh and free water from the water bar.
